What the heck is mediapreneurship and mediapreneurs?

You might have noticed the new tagline in today’s episode. The #1 Show For Mediapreneurs. What the !@#$ is a mediapreneur?

Mediapreneurship and mediapreneurs are terms I came up in the shower a few years ago which refer to Internet-based entrepreneurs that have created a business around creating media/broadcasting.

This includes:

• Podcasters
• Web TV Hosts
• Video Bloggers
• Broadcasters
• Bloggers

…and many others. If you think you are a mediapreneur, you probably are. In my bias opinion, mediapreneurship is one of (if not the most) amazing, challenging and fulfilling ways to spend your (working) time and make money. It is amazing to see so many people making money by broadcasting about their favorite topics/hobbies/passions.
