My good friend Elizabeth Marshall sent me an email introducing me to today’s guest, Marie Forleo. Here is what she said:

Marie ForleoDavid – meet Marie, an engaging blogger/content creator and founder of the Rich, Happy and Hot brand. She’s not only witty, hilarious and sarcastic, but her journey as an entrepreneur is VERY interesting – one that would make for a great discussion on RISE :) .

Interesting. I probed and found out more. A little probing revealed that Marie is best-selling author (Make Every Man Want You: How to Be So Irresistible You’ll Barely Keep from Dating Yourself!), speaker, online-entrepreneur, Nike Athlete and Master Trainer, fitness personality, and dancer/choreographer. Marie has defied conventional wisdom and achieved phenomenal success across multiple industries. She even has a term for it: multi-passionate.

I had to nab her for an interview, and here it is. Marie is sassy, smart and a great conversationalist with a fantastic story and lots of insight. Enjoy!

    Great interview with my girl Marie! Marie is on fire right now. Went to Rich, Hot & Happy in NY last year and it was the turning point in my life to move forward the “right way” toward my dream (hubster).     As always, excellent interview. I love how you feed off the energy of your guest, getting pumped as they describe their climb. Although that’s pretty easy when you’re dealing with someone like Marie.

    And Marie…your story is inspiring. So many people are on the brink of action, wanting to go but allowing the voices of fear to hold them back. Your story and message and energy shatter those whispers of doubt into a million pieces and give people the spark they need to stop waiting and jump in with both feet.
