Ask David: What is the FASTEST way to build relationships with influencers in your niche?

OK, so it is no secret that connections/relationships are ridiculously critical in building your online biz. If that is news to you, scold thyself. :)

But seriously…

Having a successful online business isn’t really that complicated. When you break it down, there are really three key components:

  1. An awesome product/service (aka. some way of making bling bling).
  2. A list of peeps/a community who knows ya, loves ya, and wants to learn from ya.
  3. A sweet network of peeps in your niche. Relationships with the bloggers, media, influencers, thought leaders and other peeps of amazingness.

In today’s quick vid, I’m going to share with you the key to #3. Watch it right here and leave some love in the comments.

Great video David. Again, so glad I took your course as I am really enjoying the interviews and networking. I have not had one person say no. Keep on keeping and thanks for your commitment to our success.

That’s AWESOME Shelia. And even if one day someone does say no, don’t sweat it :)

Looks like editing my comment too much got it flagged… did not intend for that.  Sorry David!

Also, enjoy the hustle on Sunday, Sunday emails are fun :)

    • David Siteman Garland

Ah that’s weird. Maybe a disqus thing? I know we didn’t do it!

All good, I was just trying to say best of luck/congratulations working with your father. Also, enjoy your persistence and energy in your work, it is awesome.

I will have to buy you a beer or coffee sometime if I’m in the St. Louis area sometime to verbally express my appreciation. Keep on hustling!

#3 goes to the new way of working Cooperatively with others in your field instead of Competitively.  Win-win for everyone, and the people who refuse, it’s their loss.

Exactly right David… When I started inthe Chiropractic niche, nobody knew who I was. Now that I’ve just posted RockStar Interview #108, I’ve been able to build my credibility and people from all over the world recognize the show. Interviews are an awesome way to become somebody your not yet.

    Thanks bro m/

Interviews are really good. Not only for the friendship you can build, but they will almost always tell their audience about the interview. So you get a great “endorsement” too. Nice post David.

    • David Siteman Garland

Yah, I wouldn’t say *always* but *often* and it increases as you get better and better (meaning more likely to spread the word)
