End-of-February and into March is going to be an exciting time on the The Rise To The Top. My goal on the show is simple. I want to conduct the most interesting and dynamic interviews with today’s business leaders and innovators and bring them directly to you. Uncut, raw and awesome.
#1: I’m getting married on March 5th (whoop!). Fun fact.
#2: We have some absolutely amazing guests coming on the show for you.
I figured I would give a quick rundown of some of folks upcoming and also give you the opportunity to submit some questions of your own and get involved. Some you might have heard of. Some maybe not (and I’m excited to introduce them to you).
Tuesday, February 22nd: Danielle LaPorte – White Hot Truth. Danielle joins me to talk about overcoming failure in business, why she things innovation is BS and crafting your business around your life.
Thursday, February 24th: Dylan Lauren – Founder of Dylan’s Candy Bar (and daughter of fashion entrepreneur Ralph Lauren). The candy-preneur took a passion from childhood and turned it into a business. The key? The importance of going big and brand. Dylan candidly discusses some of her decisions (such as using her name) and its effects on business.
Gary Vaynerchuk – This will also be Gary’s second interview on the show. We will be chatting about his new book The Thank You Economy and I’m sure an array of subjects involving tech and entrepreneurship.
Guy Kawasaki – Guy will be joining me to discuss his new book Enchantment…and I have a feeling we will also be talking hockey.
Carol Roth – Looking forward to discussing her new book The Entrepreneur Equation. Carol is an amazing personality with an incredible entrepreneurial background and has raised over $1 billion in capital (yes, with a “b”).
Rosie Pope – Star of Bravo’s upcoming Pregnant in Heels and founder of Rosie Pope Maternity, a chic maternity line and MomPrep, a boutique concierge service which offers every kind of course a mother might need from fitness classes to nutrition classes, etc. I’m going to make sure to pick her brain on her brand, story and how she ended up with a TV show.
Lisa Gansky – I’m looking forward to discussing with Lisa her amazing book The Mesh and a variety of topics involving marketing and entrepreneurship.
Matthew Inman – The founder of one of my FAVORITE sites The Oatmeal will be coming on. I can’t wait to talk to him about becoming a professional web comic.
Scott Kurtz – I must have comics on the mind. Scott Kurtz, an amazing cartoonist, who began his career with his daily strip, Captain Amazing and now crushing it online with PvP will be on joining me for what will prove to be a combination of laughs and business.
Dave Gray – Author of Gamestorming and founder of Xplane has quite the “accidental” entrepreneurial story. I already shot an interview with Dave, but Skype was on its absolutely worst behavior ever…sadly we might have to re-shoot it.
Ask A Question:
Have a question for an upcoming guest? While I can’t promise I can get to every one, I will do my best to incorporate the best questions into the interview (and give you a shout out). You can leave a comment here with your question (and of course specify who it is for).
To be the first to watch and listen to the interviews, the best way is to subscribe. Here are some options:
Email (You can select “daily” which will update you the day a show is released or weekly)
RSS (you will never miss anything including text updates like this one)
Roku (if you have a Roku box, we have our own channel now…right next the NHL and Netflix!)
Connected TV (look for The Rise To The Top app)
And all shows are mobile, iPad friendly. Hooray!
This is something unique and pretty nifty (yes, nifty). If a guest screams out at you and you want to be the exclusive sponsor of that interview (I will plug your company/website/whatever you want plugged before and after the interview as well as link it up in the show notes), reach out right here and I’ll let you know the details.
The neat thing about this option is that your plug stays up. And I can tell you from experience, interviews get amazing views WAY AFTER they are released. For example, there are over 50 interviews from last year on the show still get multiple thousands of views a month. Thank you, Internet.
Bottom line is whether you want to watch, listen, ask a question, spread the word, subscribe and/or sponsor, I’m incredibly thankful for it. It is your support that keeps The Rise To The Top going.
