The weather outside may or may not be frightful, but inside we will be talking social media, no excuses and accountability and ummm that will be pretty delightful (I know, I know that was just terrible).
Anyhow, this is the FINAL RISE Lunch of the year and you know darn well we are going out with a freakin’ bang on December 2nd.
If you are an entrepreneur, freelancer, solopreneur, forward-thinker, aspiring entrepreneur, passionate marketer or just a generally awesome person who likes hanging out with cool people and learning in a “non-stuffy-typical-ewww-networking event” than this is for you.
Here is what you can expect:
#1: A delicious lunch prepared by the rock star chefs at Araka (lunch includes a mixed green salad, a veggie-friendly lasagna and a warm chocolate brownie with maple bourbon ice cream). According to Kristen at Araka “the lasagna is outrageous.”
#2: More awesome people than you can shake a stick at (assuming you can shake a stick at 30-40 people).
#3: Sam Silverstein will be giving an uber-powerful presentation “No More Excuses….Accountability Is Your Competitive Advantage” I’m super excited that Sam will be in the house as it is a real treat. Sam is the former President of the National Speakers Association, author of 10 (yes, TEN) business books including “No More Excuses” and is pretty much a big deal over the world.
#4: A rousing discussion/panel/interactive Q&A session on social media & new media (bring your questions!) I, David Siteman Garland, will be moderating and chiming in. And joining me are two of the least-jargon-filled-and-instead-really-real-people I know. The founder of Rizzo Tees Chris Reimer (who built his brand from scratch using social media as a relationship builder) and Erin “Steinburglar” Steinbruegge, co-founder of The Loud Few who can explain technology to even those amongst us who don’t know the difference between a megabyte and spider bite (nothing to be scared of, trust me).
#5: A personal hug from me if you get too close.
We were going to charge like a million dollars or so for the event, but instead decided to go with $30…which INCLUDES lunch. HOWEVER, space is VERY limited and the event has sold out every time this year, so make sure to grab your seat now or risk a cold, dark winter (just kidding..you know what I mean).
