The #1 Non-Boring, Fluff-Free, Forward-Thinking Business Lunch In St. Louis
There was such an overwhelming response to the past two RISE lunches…that we are doing it again (hey, there is nothing better than getting away from the office to learn with great people and enjoy a bite, right?). St. Louis RISE lunch is back on May 5th at Araka Restaurant in Clayton and will once again feature networking, lunch, creative talks, and amazing crowd of innovators, entrepreneurs, forward-thinkers, business owners, marketers and much more.
As usual, we are limiting tickets to just 50 (intimacy is a good thing, right?) Last month’s event sold out with ONE EMAIL, so don’t delay if you want to be a part of it. And once they are gone, they are gone. We had some folks try to get tickets late last time who missed out on the opportunity, so make sure to nab them early.
This month we are taking a word often considered ugly and making it really pretty: SALES.
Ah the wonderful world of selling. It doesn’t matter if you sell directly yourself (or replace that word with market or promote) or manage someone that does, everyone can benefit from some forward-thinking strategies. No matter what business you are in, you can benefit by becoming more savvy at sales, marketing and promoting (especially in the changing online-world that comes along with new tools, etiquette and best practices).
During the May RISE Lunch, you will be taken on a crash course of the entire sales cycle from generating leads (offline and online) to closing the deal plus an opportunity to ask your most burning questions.
Program includes short, powerful presentations and chats filled with fluff-free information, practical tips, stories to inspire you, and more while you dine.
How To Generate Leads For Your Business: Jason Bahnak from Gateway Business Development will be joining David for a live episode of RISE to discuss the art and science of generating leads for your business and answering your questions. Which offline strategies still work in 2010? What isn’t working? What do you need to know about generating leads?
Marketing Around Your Product: David Siteman Garland, founder of The Rise To The Top, will be discussing how to promote, market and ultimately sell online without looking like a jerk or coming off as “too salesly” or “self-promoting.” His insider tips and tricks will make you change the way you look at the world of sales, marketing, advertising and promotion.
Closing The Deal: But what good is generating a bunch of leads if you can’t close the deal? Do you often look at your pipeline and feel good about the fact that you’re sending proposals and quotes, and the pipeline is continuing to build, but closes aren’t happening, aren’t happening fast enough or are being delayed? Patti Harty from Stark & Associates will discuss what it takes to close the deal.
