    I like the way you explained the new generation from the old generation. 

    I went for lunch yesterday with a friend of mine who is 65 years old.  We’re 42 years apart. He constantly asks why I don’t get an MBA and I just don’t see how an MBA replaces passion and hustle.  It’s nice to have but it’s irrelevant to my business and to  the lifestyle I have.  I can hire those people… and I do. 
    Anyway, I’ve digressed.  I wanted to be able to explain that to him yesterday but I am glad that you’ve distinguished it  for me for the future.

      Hah, interesting point Shaun. One key of course is getting advice from the right people. I remember early on, sometimes I would listen to the wrong people.

        Well of course I disregarded his advice because his way of thinking has gotten him his results – A career he hated over his lifetime.  I listen to him on other matters such as selecting good scotches for instance. But I listen to the people (like you) who have done and are doing exactly what I want to do.

        I too can relate to listening to the wrong advice.  I question their biases now and if they’re not where I want to be, I just don’t listen.

           Yes my friend for sure and good and bad advice comes in sorts of shapes and size: big, small, old, young, male, female.

    Another great interview as usual! I like the part where Brian says “There will always be someone better than you, but no one else has the experience you do, your challenges, your hardships.” (paraphrased). This is motivating, because we often give-up far too early, we feel we aren’t “Good Enough”. Also, on Success. Ask yourself “DO YOU CREATE EASE, INTENTIONALLY FOR OTHER PEOPLE?” If the answer is YES. You win! lol =D

    I am continually amazed that Your Interviews Inspire, Motivate and Educate.
    Yet they Do and I am most Grateful as I have Learned from each and every one.
    As a former Educator I especially appreciated Brian’s Comments on Old School.
    I have found that there when People are asked to Do Things Differently it requires for them to step out of a Comfort Zone and Change is scary for many.
    However, it is also comforting to hear him address the issues of being a Continual Learner……..Each Day is a New Day and there is SO Much to Learn and we live in Exciting Times.
