Giddy up. Time for a treat today.
One of the biggest challenges we all face as mediapreneurs is productivity and organization. Especially since the ability to work from anywhere can be a great thing (freedom!) and awful (you are never really ”away from work” and “unplugged”).
I mean, there is so much to do, right? Creating awesome content. Promoting your content. Coming up with products. Creating those products. Marketing those products. Dealing with customers. Interacting with fans. Oh, and all that business stuff like accounting, logistics (boring word of the day), etc. And, oh ya, you have a life too.
Today, I’ve got someone awesome to help give us all some perspective, and that someone is Matt Kepnes (aka Nomadic Matt). Not only does Matt have an EPIC mediapreneur empire/business focused on travel (including a huge community, 6-figures in revenue, an awesome website, and a book, How to Travel the World on $50 a Day - affiliate link) but he does it all WHILE TRAVELING THE WORLD (practicing what he preaches!).
I tracked him down today to share with us how he does it. And you will be surprised how simple it is.
As you watch/listen to this interview, really think to yourself as he tells you his top tips: Am I really doing this or do I just ‘know’ I should be doing it?
And make sure to let us know in the comments section YOUR top productivity tips for getting it done and having fun (that rhymed…high five).
I use RISE partner Wistia for video hosting because they rock. Check ‘em out.

So, it’s freakin’ winter and it sucks. If you could host a meeting ANYWHERE using GoToMeeting, where would it be AND WHY?
Make SURE to use the #RISEfreeipad and #gotomeeting hashtags. You can do it AS MANY TIMES AS YOU WANT!
Holy crap! Check out this testimonial for The Host To The Top. If you are a mediapreneur looking to take your game to the next level, definitely apply to join our awesome posse and be coached by me. Details right here.
