30 Minute Training of Awesome: How to Delegate and Get Tasks You Don’t Want to Do Off Your Plate

Got some sweet training for you today. Compliments of me. :)

Does this sound familiar? You start your online biz looking to turn your passion/expertise into a badass brand and also create some freedom for yourself. SWEET.

So, you start doing stuff like getting your website up, creating content, etc. SWEET.

And you’re working on that product or service. SWEET.

And marketing. SWEET.

And all that annoying business stuff. Accounting. Emails. Scheduling. SWEET.

All of a sudden, uh oh. Your business has become a time trap. And that freedom you were thinking about? Nope. You barely have enough time to go the bathroom.

Don’t fret – help is on the way. I had this problem in the past as well and there is a simple word to get it off your plate: DELEGATION.

I’ve tracked down (aka. hunted down) Natasha Vorompiova, who is not only Russian but also a MASTER of teaching systems and delegation to busy peeps like you. In this 30-minute master lesson, you are going to learn how to put the power of delegation into your business.

Watch/Listen below. And here is a challenge: What is ONE thing you know you should be delegating right now? Let us know in the comments section.

I use RISE partner Wistia for video hosting because they rock. Check ‘em out.

David I love the fact that you interviewed Natasha because I personally refer her folks who need more help figuring out which systems to create for their businesses and those who need help developing the systems mindset.

Definitely. Although often seen as a bit of a “boring” topic, it is SO SO important…and actually not boring at all.

Love the tips and delegating is something I need to do more of..It’s so easy to get caught up in trying to do it all but having the right team and systems in place can bring back that awesome feeling in your biz. I’d like to start delegating invoicing, scheduling and other administrative work that piles up every week!

I’ve done a bunch of delegating using odesk and elance, with mixed success. I’m currently using a Philippines-based team through odesk for SEO. That’s been going pretty well.

Also, David, have you ever interviewed Erin Blaskie? She’s the master of using VAs and delegating.

  • Shelia

So excited you did a show on systems. I’m a bit of a systems and logistics nut. Built an offline Multi-seven figure business based on great designs, strong systems and excellent customer service. The toughest issue I see with my current clients is getting them to take the time to build the systems because they are so busy already. Great topic.

Great vid as always, some very good takeaways here. Thanks!!!

Quick question… I’ve seen you do interviews with the white iPhone earbuds before and I just figured that was your mic and how you were listening. Is that true? And if so, what’s the purpose of both the iPhone earbuds AND the mic???

    I’m confused.

Love this interview. Everything you do in your business is either systemizable or a creative project. Plan accordingly. ;) Outsource the things you don’t enjoy or put off. This will accelerate your decision making and speed up your success. Do what you love!
