    Awesome interview! I stumbled across your site for the first time for the Lewis Howes interview and love the show so far. We are working on a membership site now and were planning on using Paypal but after listening to Sean, I’m definitely going to take a hard look at Clickbank. We weren’t planning on doing much with affiliate promotion to start, but I get the feeling Clickbank still might be the better option. Do you think Paypal would be the better option if you are not promoting via affiliates?

    (quick suggestion: I clicked on one of images below the interview and it cut the video and took me to a separate page. might be a good spot for a lightbox..we use the ‘fancybox for wordpress’ plugin.)

      Hey Adam,

      I would definitely caution against just using Paypal. Never put all your eggs in one basket – especially Paypal…The problems arise with Paypal when you see a sudden rise in business and your products are of the digital variety.  

      Clickbank will be fine for you, If you have a good product other affiliates will find it on Clickbank and start selling it for you.

      I had my Paypal account frozen for almost five months and only got it sorted after jumping through ridiculous amounts of hoops and several phone calls. I ‘d definitely go with click bank over Paypal personally

    I love interviews like this where the curtain is pulled back.  With the vast amount of tools on the internet, it is great to hear a successful entrepreneur give us the “why” and “how” it works.  It’s definitely a great way to start 2012!
