Today’s guest just oozes a passion for publishing. In fact, he has made an incredible career out of it – going all the way back to the days when he was a student at Baylor University a few decades ago. Fast-forward to now and Michael Hyatt is the CEO of Thomas Nelson Publishers, an avid blogger, husband, and father to five daughters (Note: That is a lot of daughters).

I invited Michael onto The Rise To The Top for a few reasons. One was to talk about his thoughts on publishing, how it has changed and where it is going (including the role of the publisher). Secondly, to offer some advice for aspiring authors and writers. And lastly, to tell a bit of his story about how he literally rose to the top of the publishing industry.
