Ankur Jain is currently a sophomore at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania pursuing a degree in Economics with concentrations in Marketing and Communications. Ankur founded the Kairos Society out of a compelling desire to break pre-existing bounds confining undergraduate entrepreneurship to within individual university communities. He is a strong believer that the next generation of entrepreneurs can not only do well, but do good. Ankur enjoys ensuring the smooth operation of the society on a day-to-day basis – he takes an active role in reaching out to corporations for partnership and sponsorship, establishing Kairos chapters at universities across the US, organizing groundbreaking summits, and branding the organization. Ankur has truly been an entrepreneur since birth; at thirteen, he taught himself programming in order to develop the Starnium Network, an online search engine for teens that also allowed mass texting from the site. At 15, he was nominated by the Washington State Senate to serve as founding member on Youth Legislative Advisory Council where he helped reform various local bills including the WASL to better represent the youth. Now, in addition to his role in the Kairos Society, Ankur is spearheading the upcoming Hollywood comedy “My New Haircut: The Movie” alongside legendary producer Scott Mednick and famed writer Orlando Jones. As executive producer, Ankur is using this movie as a vehicle to bring YouTube celebrities alongside traditional celebrities on the big screen.
