In December of 2007, Vermont skier Corinne Prevot picked up some fun lycra fabric and started making hats for her Burke Mt. Academy teammates and friends. Soon the demand for the colorful hats grew, as did the variety of prints. Then, new products joined the line to keep her alpine skier friends warm and colorful.
Corinne graduated from Burke Mt. Academy in 2009, and currently attends Middlebury College.

In 2013, today’s guest, Corrine Prevot, will graduate from Middlebury College. And more than a diploma, she will be leaving with a successful business she started when she was just 17. SKIDA sells limited-run ski hats all made in Corrine’s home state of Vermont. This little idea has grown already into a six-figure business.
