Ashley Cook and Danielle Dankner, co-owners and designers of the private clothing label, ash&dans, graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in 2008. Ash graduated from the Olin School of Business with a dual degree in Marketing and Spanish, and Dans graduated from the School of Arts & Sciences with a degree in English Literature. After graduation, Ash, the color-loving Coloradan, and Dans, the nothing-but-black-wearing New Yorker, moved to New York City to create their signature jersey and lace line. Marrying their distinct styles and personalities, ash&dans was born, the perfect blend of classic and cool.
