Check out the latest interviews with Johnny Londoff.
When John Londoff, Jr. purchased Johnny Londoff Chevrolet from his father, who retired after 63 years in the automotive business and 50 years as a Chevrolet dealer, he received a personal letter from the General Motors chief executive. G. Richard Wagner, Jr., Chairman and CEO, wrote:
This means you have a 50 year reputation to maintain. While this is definitely no small task considering the sales performance of the dealership, I’m confident you’re just the man to do it. With your enthusiasm and the terrific lineup of Chevrolets available, the future of Johnny Londoff Chevrolet looks bright.
Londoff Jr.’s enthusiasm for Chevrolet products and his determination to continue the sales and service tradition, which have together kept customers returning through the years, is the result of a lifetime of training. He has worked in every area of the dealership, fine-tuning his qualifications as CEO with degrees from SMU and the General Motors Dealer Institute.
Owning two Chevrolet dealerships, one in Florissant and the other in Pacific, Londoff is on the fast track, putting many miles on his own Chevrolet Suburban. In addition to his hard work at the dealerships, he continues the charitable legacy for which the Londoff family is known. From raising money for St. Louis Children’s Hospital to local neighborhood fundrasiers, Johnny Londoff Chevrolet always has been and will continue to be in the forefront.
Always available to customers, Londoff Jr. is sensitive to their concerns. “I’m proud of the fact that Chevrolet has eight models that meet or beat miles per gallon estimates. I’m also proud that our dealership can maintain as a family tradition the competitive edge that keeps car buyers coming back – some in the fourth generation.”

Word Of Mouth Marketing To say word of mouth marketing is powerful would be an understatement. Especially in the era of the social web. Good news travels fast. Bad news travels faster (yikes). One of the best ways to spark referrals, buzz and generate excitement around your business is to offer what Johnny Londoff calls a “Wow customer experience” at Johnny Londoff Chevrolet. Londoff, even after the big car crash (pun intended?) has consistently been one of the top Chevrolet dealerships in the country. And the reason for that? Pure and simple: Customer service and innovation. Johnny understands the world is changing and I think that is powerful lesson for every business owner and entrepreneur. But that being said, word of mouth marketing is nothing new. The amplification of word of mouth is huge (thank you social media for your blazing speed). (On that note, a random shout out. A friend of RISE Terrie Rowles just opened a new firm by the same name: “Wow Customer Experience Group” which is a consulting/training agency to help businesses with creating a wow experience. Terrie was a veteran with HP and has now branched out on her own.) Because happy customers talk. They come back. They do the marketing work for you. They tell their friends. The Internet And Social Media Has Changed Word Of Mouth Marketing Now one person can tell more people than ever before. And faster. Instantaneous. Johnny is just getting started on Facebook and Twitter and already forming great… Read More
