Robert Scoble (born January 18, 1965) is an American blogger, technical evangelist, and author. Scoble is best known for his blog, Scobleizer, which came to prominence during his tenure as a technical evangelist at Microsoft. He is married to Maryam Ghaemmaghami Scoble. He has three children; one from a previous marriage and two with Maryam. He currently works for Rackspace and is building a community for people fanatical about the Internet called Building 43. He previously worked for Fast Company as a video blogger. He is also the co-author of Naked Conversations: How Blogs are Changing the Way Businesses Talk with Customers with Shel Israel. When it comes to blogging and online content, Robert Scoble is pretty much in a league of his own. His Scobleizer blog is on the bleeding edge of technology (and is one of, if not the most, influential tech blog in the world) and his newer project Building 43 brings interesting videos, interviews with tech start ups and more. Scoble is one of the original bloggers at Microsoft, an early adopter and always has something to say. Scoble has always been an inspiration to me and I wanted to share his thoughts with all of you when we had a chance to sit down and talk tech, media, carving out your online niche and more (plus of course we got a little geeky talking about video cameras and other goodies such as the iPad).
